To conduct the first passover services for enlisted men of the Army ever held in Puerto Rico, Rabbi Lavy Becker, of New Haven, sailed today for San Juan aboard the S.S. Coamo under the auspices of the Jewish Welfare Board. There is no Jewish Army chaplain in Puerto Rico. Governor Guy J. Swope of the territory and other officials plan to attend the ceremonies on Friday, April 11.
