Jewish Day for the Blind will be celebrated this year on December 3 when the annual sale under the auspices of the New York State Department of Social Welfare, division of the blind, will be held. Mrs. David Goldfarb, president of the Federation of Jewish Women’s Organizations, has accepted the chairmanship of Jewish Day.
Others who thus far have accepted appointments as members of the committee are Mmes. Louis Gimbel, Lewis M. Bloomingdale, Joseph Stroock, Theresa N. Grunsfeld, Frederick Brown, Isaac Kubie, A. Jack Davidson, Leon Kamaiky, Birdy Kaiser and Miss Belle Sulzberger.
