Two unemployed Jewish porters who had applied to the Jewish Community of Salonica for relief were refused on account of the poverty of the community. The two thereupon attacked employees of the community and began destroying the furnmiture in the offices, damaging several pieces of furniture and breaking a number of widows. The police intervened and arrested the unfortunates.
