Samuel B. Finkel of Boston, president of the National Federation of Temple Brotherhoods and Rabbi Harry Levi of Temple Israel of Boston, will be the main speakers at the conference of congregations. sisterhoods and brotherhoods which will be held in Temple Beth El. Providence, this Sunday. Delegates will be present from every Reform Jewish congregation in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and plans will be drawn up for the furtherance of Jewish religious education in the two states.
In addition to Finkel and Rabbi Levi, the speakers will include Charles C. Brown, president of Temple Beth El, and Rabbi William G. Braude. There will also be a round table discussion led by Mrs. J. George Nathanson of Providence, Louis H. Epstein of Brookline, Archibald A. Hillman of Worcester and Samuel M. Klivansky of Lynn. Rabbi Jacob B. Pollak of New York, Secretary of the North East Religious Union, sponsor of the conference, will bring the greetings of the parent body.
