Funeral services were held today for Samuel Harris, a founder of the Hebrew Free Loan Society, who died yesterday at the age of 69. He was a former president of the Jewish Old Folks Home and a leader in Jewish philanthropy, having been associated with the Hebrew Free School, the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies, and B’nai B’rith. His widow and three sons survive him.
