Edwin Samuel, sub-director of the emigration department of the Palestine government and the eldest son of Sir Herbert Samuel, leader of the British Liberal party, was a recent visitor to Holland.

He had conversations at the British legation and with the Dutch emigration commissioner of the Jewish Agency, Dr. I. Cohen of Rotterdam. He evinced deep interest in all questions connected with the training of Palestine pioneers and the emigration of German Jewish refugees.

He conferred with the leaders of refugee relief work here and also with the secretary of the Dutch Keren Hayesod, Dr. B. A. Kahn.
