Funeral services were held here today for Samuel J. Jacobson, an accountant and active Jewish leader who died Tuesday at the age of 77. Last year he was honored by the United Jewish Appeal for his many years of service. Born in Latvia, Mr. Jacobson came to the United States in 1891. Among other Jewish service and philanthropic causes in which he was active were the American Jewish Congress, the Zionist Organization of America and the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of Greater New York.
