Samuel Raisler, actively identified with Jewish philanthropic work in New York City for a number of years, died on Wednesday morning at his home on Riverside Drive. Mr. Raisler, who was fifty-five years old, was president of the Raisler Heating Company and the Raisler Sprinkling Company. He came to this country from Austria as a young boy and was educated in the New York public schools. For a number of years Mr. Raisler was a member of the Business Men’s Council of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies. He was also a trustee of the West End Synagogue, a director of the Convalescent Home for Crippled Children at Far Rockaway and a member of Shaaray Tefila Brotherhood. He is survived by a widow and three children.
