Samuel Reese was elected president of the American Federation for Polish Jews last night at the closing session of the organization’s national convention here. A resolution expressing the Federation’s thanks to the United States for its swift recognition of Israel was adopted by the delegates. Dr. Solomon Tucker was elected vice-president of the Federation.
