At the end of May Edwin Samuel, at present district commissioner at Nazareth, will become assistant director of the Palestine department of immigration, it became known here today.
Edwin Samuel is the son of Sir Herbert Samuel, first high commissioner of Palestine.
The present immigration director is Albert Montefiore Hyamson.
