The Jewish college student from Brooklyn who punched George Rockwall on the jaw during the Nazi’s lecture at the San Diego State College last Thursday will be let off with a reprimand from College president Malcolm A. Love, officials announced today.
The reprimand for Edward Cherry, a senior, was recommended by the student body’s judicial board which noted that the punch was unpremeditated. The student belted the chief of the American Nazi Party when Rockwall shoved him and refused to answer questions about a speech in which he attacked American Jews.
