More than $2,080,000 will have been raised by the Jewish Welfare Federation of San Francisco, Marin County and the Peninsula by the end of its current campaign, it was reported here today by Carl W. Stern, 1965 campaign chairman.
This announcement was augmented by Samuel A. Ladar, president of the Federation, who pointed out that this would represent the largest campaign result in Federation history. Tribute was paid to Mr. Stern for his dedicated and dynamic leadership, as well as to the large number of volunteers who worked unceasingly to better the 1964 results.
