The Board of Jewish Ministers of Northern California, at its monthly meeting, went on record as unalterably opposed to the so-called “mushroom congregations” that have been springing up in the larger cities, especially about the holy days.
The board decided to do all in its power to curb this practice and to discourage the formation of such congregations.
