Sarah Gertrude Millin, one of South Africa’s greatest English writers, died here July 6. She was 80 years old. Widow of the late Judge Philip Millin, she was a staunch spokesman on behalf of Jewry and Israel and was considered a patriot who defended South Africa against calumny. She wrote a six-volume World War II diary in which she devoted much attention to Israel.
