Representatives of the Jewish press participated today in funeral services for Saul Ginsburg, veteran journalist and member of the Jewish Daily Forward staff, who died on Saturday at the age of 74. Burial was in the Workmen’s Circle plot at Mt. Carmel cemetery.
Ginsburg came to the United States ten years ago from Russia, where he was Professor of Jewish History at the Jewish Institute in St. Petersburg and founder of Der Freind, first Yiddish daily to be published under the Czarist regime.
