The Nationalist representatives of the Jewish Kehillah have lodged a protest against the failure of the municipality to bear the expense of burial of Jews who die here leaving no funds to pay their internment.
The government meets this expense in the cases of the non-Jewish dead, while the Jewish community has been called upon hitherto to pay all the expense in the case of Jewish dead.
