Complaining that the Spring sowing situation in Crimea and Kalinindorf is still deplorable, J. Merezhin, Jewish Communist leader, warns the local Jewish Communists not to confiscate the property of the Jewish kulaks or to expel them from the colonies. He says that “the law about the liquidation of the kulaks recommends expulsion and confiscation as the extreme but not as the only measure.”
Merezhin also said that the efforts of the extreme left-wingers not to settle voteless Jews on the land will be in vain as the Comzet intends to settle a large percentage of them.
