The “Hebrew Journal” of Toronto in an editorial in its last issue says:
“The Yiddish -speaking and the English-speaking Jews constitute two worlds which are estranged from each other. And so far it has been impossible to find a way of bringing these to worlds closer together, except that of furnishing news and information on Jewish subjects to bo## elements which will familiarize them and establish a mutual ground of interest.
“In this respect, we believe that a great do## will be accomplished by the English-Jewish newspaper, The Jewish Daily Bulletin, which has been appearing in New York for nearly two months now. This paper may become the instrument that will bridge the gulf between the two elements Jews.”
