Says Jews Quit Jerusalem Council on Zionist Orders

A request from the Zionist Executive in London was responsible for the recent resignation of the Jewish members of the Jerusalem municipal council, cables the Jerusalem correspondent of the local “El Mokkotam.” He says that the resignation was prompted by a desire to upset the Arabs’ demand for a legislative council and “proves that collaboration between the Jews and Arabs is impossible.”
