Warning the Jews that unless they begin immediately to assemble documents bearing on their ancient rights to the Wailing Wall they will again lose out, the Hebrew daily, “Doar Hayom,” in commenting on the decision of the Council of the League of Nations to agree to the appointment of a commission to settle Jewish-Moslem differences with regard to the Wall, says that “this attempt begins a basic investigation into the status of the Wall. Whether the Commission will be empowered only to inquire or to decide its findings are bound to influence decisively the fate of the Wall and of the rights of Jews and Moslems.”
