Love of the German nation, not rancor against Jews, inspired passage of anti-Jewish legislation, it was declared today by Hans Frank, Reich minister without portfolio.

Replying to a question put to him by a visiting delegation of British lawyers, Herr Frank said:

“We issued our anti-Semitic laws not because we hated the Jews, but because we love the German nation.”
