There is no reason for discrimination between political and other prisoners in Palestine since no such discrimination exists in England, declared Dr. Drummond Shiels, under-secretary for the Colonies in the House of Commons. He denied that Hannah Millstein, youthful Jewish Communist, had died as a result of a hunger-strike. According to Dr. Shiels she had not taken part in the hunger strike and died from heart disease three months after she was released from prison.
