That without Jews Palestine couldn’t be built up into a modern, progressive country and that the primitive state of development of Transpordania today and the increase in the Palestine Arab population of only 15,000 a year is proof of that, was the contention made by Adolph Boehms at the “He’Chalutz” conference here.

Boehms cited figures to prove that the Arabs were the chief beneficiaries from the Jewish efforts in Palestine, and that before Zionism started to build up the country a large part of the Arab population was starving.
