The extreme importance of the Zionists submitting intelligent material concerning the land question and colonization in Palestine in connection with the forthcoming investigation of these problems by Sir John Simpson for the British government if they would avoid the danger of grave decisions without the cooperation of the Zionist Organization, is pointed out by Dr. Robert Weltsch, editor of the “Jeudische Rundschau,” organ of the German Zionist Federation, writing in that paper.
“The comment of the ‘London Times’ very clearly points out such a danger,” he says. “When the government demands a practical program from the Jewish Agency we must not answer with general oratorical ornaments but submit the most detailed kind of a program or else there is danger that we will be passed over in important decisions in a moment of incomparably weighty consequence.”
