Scholars from Europe, North America and Israel are attending an international conference this week on anti-Semitism in the Balkans. Topics at the three-day conference in Slovenia include contemporary ethnic conflicts and their relevance to anti-Semitism; Holocaust denial; anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism in public discourse; and the survival and perpetuation of anti-Jewish stereotypes in Balkan folklore, literature and art.
