Abraham Feinberg, who last week donated 100,000 Pounds ($12,500) towards the formation of a scholarship foundation for orphans of the Israeli commandos who had fallen in battles against Arab aggression, announced today that the fund will be named after Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Netanyahu who was killed in action last Saturday while leading the commando raid for the release of the airline hostages in Uganda.
Moshe Wertheim, who is in charge of Feinberg’s business activities in Israel, has been appointed coordinator of the scholarship program, will suggest the format of the foundation and the composition of its directorate. Feinberg, prominent American financier and philanthropist, is Chairman of the Board of the American Bank & Trust Company.
