A school for the rehabilitation and readjustment of Israel’s blinded war veterans has been established by the Defense Ministry’s rehabilitation division here. An initial group of 20 sightless veterans will learn trades and become self-supporting in approximately one year under the supervision of teachers who are also blind. The school is the first of its kind in the Jewish state.
