The corner stone for an elementary municipal school named “Estado de Israel,” in the city of Terespolis near here was laid in the presence of Israeli Consul General in. Rio, Efraim Dowek, The school, for more than 300 non-Jewish children, will open after the construction is finished, in about two years. The children will be taught about Israel and its history. The cost of the construction, not specified, will be paid by Dr. Jacob Korolik, vice-president of the Herzi Library in Rio, an institution of the General Zionists.
