Yeshiva University has received a grant of $36, 000 from the National Science Foundation for research into mathematical problems concerned with algorithms, symbolic logic, and the recursive function theory, it was announced here today.
The research will be conducted at the University’s Belfer Graduate School of Science under the direction of Dr. Martin D. Davis, associate professor of mathematics. The Belfer Graduate School of Science, founded in 1958, offers programs in mathematics and physics leading to the Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.
