Some 700 scientists from around the world are presently in Israel attending the 22nd triennial conference of the International Scientific Radio Union. The foreign participants include the Deputy Minister of Communications of the People’s Republic of China and top radio scientists from the Soviet Union, India, Czechoslovakia, Poland and Hungary. Egypt sent a delegate but Iraq, which is also a member of the Union, did not.
