Scott Nadelson was awarded the Samuel Goldberg Prize for Emerging Jewish Writers for his book “The Cantor’s Daughter: Stories.” Awarded by the National Foundation for Jewish Culture, past winners of the prize include Nathan Englander, Gary Shteyngart and Lara Vapnyar. Nadelson is also the author of “Saving Stanley: The Brickman Stories.” He teaches writing at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.
