(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
Confidence that the Ark of the Covenant will be found in our generation was expressed by A J. Futterer, president of the American-Jerusalem Bible Institute of Los Angeles, in an interview with the representative of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency here.
Futterer, who came to Palestine to conduct investigations on Mount Nebo where, history records, the ark was hidden in the sixth country before the Christian era by the Prophet Jeremiah, has made a survey of the caves on Mount Nebo preparatory to beginning the search. He has applied to the Transjordanian Department of Antiquities for a lease on Mount Nebo. When he receives this, Futterer said, he will begin the search.
