A committee of prominent Democrats and Independent Republicans have agreed to nominate Murray Seasongood for county commissioner and Samuel Ach for county treasurer, if they will consent to run in the November election, it was learned today.
Mr. Seasongood, as mayor of Cincinnati from 1926 to 1930, made a great record for himself and brought prestige to the Jewish people of this community through his bold leadership of the forces of reform. He is a member of Rockdale Avenue Temple. Samuel Ach was president of the Board of Education here for several years before his election as county treasurer in 1926. He refused a second term and Edgar Friedlander, another prominent Jewish business man, is now county treasurer but has also refused a second term.
