With every Jewish youth organization in Seattle participating, national “Jewish Youth Day” was celebrated today at Temple Center. Its purpose was to show exactly what Jewish young people are accomplishing in the fields or art, drama, music, science and debate, Myron Spring, Temple League president and in charge of arrangements, announced.
An all-day celebration was held in the Temple Center with exhibits, speeches, plays, a banquet and finally a dance, closing activities. Plans for the day were cooperated in by representatives of the Herzl Junior Guild. Temple League, Aleph Zadik Aleph, Jewish Junior League and the Habima Players, representing Reform, Orthodox, Conservative and junior B’nai B’rith groups.
