Launching a series of seven lectures tracing 4,000 years of Jewish contributions to civilization, Rabbi Philip A. Langh will begin his second experiment in adult education in Seattle Tuesday at Herzl Synagogue when he talks on “Rediscovering the Old Testament.”
“I think the lectures presented will better fortify the Jew to meet the attacks of his maligners and, at the same time, will aid in fostering goodwill between Christian and Jew,” Rabbi Langh said.
