Second Anti-semitic Publication Closed in Turkey

Two editors of the Turkish magazine “Volcano.” closed down because of its anti-Semitic and anti-government policy, have been sentenced to 22 months imprisonment by an Istanbul court.

Meanwhile, Nedjip F. Kisakurek, editor of “The Great East,” another anti-Semitic review which has been closed by the government, is on trial now and a verdict is expected shortly. The last issue of “Volcano” contained an article entitled “The Jew.” which presented Jews as the vilest people in the world.
