Secretary of Labor Davis, in an address here yesterday, renewed his attack upon an unrestricted immigration, and urged his audience to support the Johnson Bill. He concluded his lengthy speech with the following warning:
“The future of America lies in the character of the aliens we allow to enter, and if Congress does not see fit to provide a selective immigration law or, at least, a law on the percentage basis, I shudder to think of the consequences.”
