The Security Council will resume consideration of Israel’s complaint against Egypt over the blockade of the Suez Canal and the Bat Galim incident Thursday morning.

The Council’s discussion of the issue was interrupted a week ago when the Egyptian representative, Dr. Mahmoud Azmi, suffered a fatal stroke in the Council chamber, Before this, several members of the Council, including the delegates from New Zealand, England, the United States, Colombia, Brazil and France, had indicated a desire to postpone action on the Bat Galim incident pending a complete report from General E. L. M. Burns, Chief of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization in Palestine.
