Morris C. Troper, comptroller of the Joint Distribution Committee, said today on his arrival from a tour of Central and Eastern Europe that he noted a waning of the Jews’ determination to live out their lives.
Should complete deprivation of legal rights of Jews, as occurred in Germany, be visited on the Jews in Eastern European countries, he said, “the disaster of the Jews in Germany would pale into insignificance.”
