Plans to raise $10,000 for the establishment of an ORT cooperative factory for the Jewish population of the city of Skalat, Galicia, Poland, were announced today by the United Skalater Relief Society of Greater New York. The funds will be contributed to the American ORT Federation and will be utilized for the erection of a cooperative factory which is expected to provide a livelihood for hundreds of persons.
