In an effort to allay the anxiety of Jews abroad concerning the fate of German Jewry, the press department of the German Government has issued a statement declaring that the new German cabinet seeks to secure peace and order for all German citizens.

The government, the statement says further, “does not intend to embark on any unreasonable experiments.”
