The newspaper Scotsman declares today that reports of impending partition of Palestine are almost as disturbing to European powers as they are to the Zionists.

These powers, chiefly eastern, which are anxious to send allegedly surplus Jewish populations abroad, an editorial asserts, are “almost as upset as the Zionists by the suggested creation of a small Jewish state in Palestine where hardly more than 600,000 additional Jewish settlers would find an opening.”
