That the Jewish townships and neigboring regions where the villages have been totally collectivized, will face total destruction, is the opinion of J. Kantor, Comzet leader of Ukrainia, upon his return from a trip to the Odessa region, where total collectivization has been accomplished.

Kantor reports that in those townships even the “kustars” (artisans) are without prospects, because everything has been centralized and is being done by cooperatives in collectives, including the mending of shoes and clothes.

Kantor believes that part of the Jewish “kustars” can be settled in collectives and utilized there in special professions. The majority, however, will have to migrate from the townships, because it will be absolutely impossible for them to earn anything there.

The “Emes,” Yiddish Communist daily, asks today that the Jewish kulaks (richer peasants) be expelled from the collective farms immediately.
