A total of $2,600,000 worth of State of Israel Bonds was said here at a dinner honoring Philip Klutznick, president of B’nai B’rith and a member of the American delegation to the United Nations General Assembly.
More than 2,500 men and women attended the dinner, admission to which was by purchase of a $1,000 bond. Among the featured speakers at the dinner were Sen, Paul H. Douglas, Mordecai Kidron, deputy representative of Israel at the UN, Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, executive vice president of the Israel Bond Organization, and local bond dealers.
