Plans for an Institute of Interdenominational Studies to be opened at the Jewish Theological Seminary in October were announced today by Dr. Cyrus Adler, president of the Seminary. The institute will offer to students of Bible and religious history four courses in various phases of Jewish history, life and religion. Dr. Henry Sloane Coffin, president of the Union Theological Seminary, issued a statement welcoming the plan.
