A “founders’ exhibit” will open Sunday in the library of the Jewish Theological Seminary as part of the institution’s semi-centennial observance. It traces the birth and growth of the seminary through personal letters and autographed documents of persons, living and dead, connected with its history.

A 23-page letter from Louis Marshall to Julius Rosenwald–Mr. Marshall’s last known letter–and Dr. Solomon Schechter’s draft of the original curriculum of the reorganized seminary are included in the exhibition. Other persons represented are Louis Marshall, Jacob Schiff, Dr. Sabato Morais, Judge Mayer Sulzberger, Leonard Lewisohn, Louis S. Brush, Israel Unterberg, Dr. Alexander Kohut, Felix M. Warburg, Dr. Cyrus Adler, Dr. H. Pereira Mendes and Sol M. Stroock.
