Sen. George McGovern (D. SD) and Rep. Christopher Dodd (D. Conn.) have introduced bills in Congress to honor Nazi-hunter Simon Wiesenthal for his untiring efforts to bring Nazi war criminals to justice. The bills, S. 1792 and H.R. 5542, would allow Congress to authorize a gold medal to be struck and to be presented to Wiesenthal by the President.
