Senator Wayne Morse of Oregon declared tonight that Israel, in its ten years of existence, “has given the world eloquent testimony of its love and need for peace, that its major interest is in the upbuilding of the land, the expansion of its industry, the development of its farms, the irrigation of its earth and the exploitation of its natural resources.” The Senator addressed more than 400 labor and management leaders and religious and civic spokesmen at an Israel bond dinner here.
