President Coolidge was requested in a resolution adopted yesterday by the Senate to transmit the report of the Secretaries of State, Commerce and Labor on the new immigrant quotas based on national origins.

In the House, Representative Douglass, Democrat, of Massachusetts, who holds that the new quota arrangement would discriminate particularly against Ireland and Germany, introduced a resolution calling for similar data.
