Senate candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton said she is “outraged” that New York Republicans, in a telephone campaign to New York voters, are linking her with the recent terrorist bombing of the USS Cole in Yemen. The state Republican Party refused to apologize and promised Saturday to continue the calls, which began after the Clinton campaign last week returned $50,000 from a fund-raiser sponsored by a U.S. Muslim group whose leader supports Hamas terrorism. The Clinton campaign denied knowing the group was involved with the event.
